Legal

DMCA & copyright policy

Artist Aligned respects copyright. If you believe music, artwork or other material on this site infringes your rights, tell us and we will act promptly.

Reporting infringement

Send a written notice to rights@artists-aligned.com with the subject line “Copyright notice”. A complete notice includes:

  • Identification of the work you own or are authorized to act for.
  • The exact URL(s) on this site of the material you are reporting.
  • Your name, mailing address, phone number and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

We aim to acknowledge complete notices within 2 business days. Where a notice appears valid, we remove or disable access to the reported material, notify the uploader, and place any related earnings on hold pending resolution.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed in error, your consent to jurisdiction in your place of residence, and your signature. We will forward it to the original complainant.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that receive repeated valid copyright notices are suspended, and their releases are removed from public streaming. Attempting to re-upload removed material is grounds for permanent removal from the platform.

Before you release

Every release submitted here passes a metadata screen and a human review, but the uploader is responsible for holding the rights to the master, composition, samples and artwork. See our community guidelines and terms.
