AI music policy

Disclosure is required

When you submit a release you must disclose whether AI was used for the audio, the vocals, or the lyrics. Disclosed releases show an “AI content disclosure” notice on their public page so listeners know what they're hearing. Undisclosed AI use is grounds for removal.

What we don't allow

• Voice clones or soundalikes of a real artist without that artist's written permission.
• Music trained on or derived from someone else's recordings you have no rights to.
• Metadata designed to impersonate another artist, release or catalog.
• Bulk-generated uploads whose purpose is to farm streams rather than to be listened to.

Fully AI-generated music

AI-generated and AI-assisted music is allowed here when it is disclosed and you hold the rights to what you uploaded. Outside platforms treat AI music differently — some require disclosure, some limit royalties. See the platform AI policy overview before you plan a wider release.

How we use AI

• Screening submitted metadata and artwork for obvious problems before a human reviews them.
• Generating optional descriptive tags (mood, tempo, instruments) that artists can review and correct.
• Powering search, recommendations and the artist advisor.

A human makes the final approve/deny decision on every release. AI output is a suggestion, never the last word, and you can correct any tag we generate for your music.

Reporting a violation

Email rights@artists-aligned.com with the track or release URL. Voice-clone and impersonation reports are treated as urgent.
