Community guidelines

What you upload

• You must hold the rights to the recording, the composition, any samples, and the artwork.
• Metadata must be accurate: real artist name, real title, correct credits, correct explicit flag.
• Disclose AI use as described in our AI policy.
• No hate speech, targeted harassment, sexual content involving minors, or content that incites violence.
• No silence, noise or filler uploaded to inflate a catalog.

Streams have to be real

Bots, click farms, paid stream services, looping scripts and coordinated replay schemes are prohibited. We monitor for abnormal play patterns; plays that fail our qualification rules earn nothing, and accounts found manipulating streams have earnings reversed and access removed.

Playlists and curation

• No selling playlist placement, and no pay-for-play arrangements.
• No misleading playlist titles, artwork or descriptions.
• Public playlists are moderated and can be made private or removed if they break these rules.

Splits and collaborators

Declare your collaborators and agree splits before you publish. Knowingly filing false splits or claiming someone else's share is treated the same as a copyright violation.

How enforcement works

Most problems are caught at review, before a release goes public. After publication we act on reports and on our own monitoring. Depending on severity we may ask you to fix metadata, unpublish a release, hold affected earnings, or suspend the account. We tell you what happened and why, and you can reply to appeal.

Copyright: rights@artists-aligned.com (see the DMCA policy). Everything else: support@artists-aligned.com. Include the URL of the release, track, playlist or profile.
